# re-creating trading strategies in HaasOnline Visual
## 📙 read me first!
🐇 [HaasOnline](https://www.haasonline.com/?ref=13533) is a popular **trading bot** for automated execution of trading strategies in the crypto currency space. Sadly most of the publicly available content is limited to basic tutorials and referral-code shilling.
I will do the same here, but hopefully with **detailed examples** that are actually useful.
If time permits I will update this space as a **living document** open to the public with any longer-term tests I run and more trading strategies over time. You are welcome to **comment**!
**The basic concept of this space is as follows:**
1. find a shilled trading-strategy online on YouTube, a Blog or via user-recommendation
2. try and re-create the trading-strategy as described in the **HaasOnline Visual Editor**, giving as much detail in a structured way as possible
3. back-test and try the strategy in a live trading environment if initial results seem promissing
4. journal about the results as we go along
The good thing about the **Visual Editor** is that you **don't need to know any coding or scripting** to get into it. You just need to learn how the bot-logic works and "connect a few dots".
Haasonline also has their own scripting language (Haasscript) to write more intricate bots in a classic sense, but this space is for the Visual Editor and people who can't code. 🐱💻
